The first quarter of 2022 saw notable performances from the top health and fitness apps on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates. According to data from Sensor Tower, here’s how the top five apps fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $909 in the week of February 7. Weekly downloads showed a fluctuating trend, with the highest downloads reaching 598 in the first week of January. Weekly active users ranged between 6.3K and 7.3K, with a slight dip in February.
Fitbit maintained a stable weekly active user base, fluctuating around 11K to 12K throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at about $852 at the end of December and showed a slight decline, reaching $805 by the end of March. Downloads saw a downward trend, starting at 529 and ending at 366 by the last week of the quarter.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike showed a varied performance in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $661 in the week of March 21.
